Opener Repairs

Repairing or replacing motor components or circuit boards can be a cost-effective method, especially when the equipment or system is relatively new and parts are readily available. This can help extend the lifespan of your equipment and reduce the costs associated with servicing and replacing the entire system.

Broken Springs

Broken garage door springs are a common problem in sectional doors. This generally happens due to wear and tear after the door has completed a certain amount of cycles. Once the garage door spring is broken, the door becomes very heavy to lift and poses a safety risk. It is not recommended to use the door manually or via opener when the garage door spring is broken as this can cause the door to suddenly come crashing down.

Sectional Doors

Cable repairs

There are several different things that can go wrong with the cables. Some cables wind around the drum incorrectly causing the door to jam. The door may droop on one side, and it will stick when it is lowered. Cables may unwind improperly and will need to be connected again. The pulleys may also wear out. The cable will not be able to go through the pulley, and the door may become stuck.

Sectional Doors

Hinges and Rollers

Small in size though they are, hinges are essential to the proper functioning of your garage door. Should they break or wear out, opening the garage will be difficult, if not impossible. Damaged rollers can cause your garage door to vibrate excessively, make excessive noise, or become misaligned.

Tilt Doors

Fitting

Several major parts of the tilt door, such as arms, springs, kicker bolts and top wheels, will wear out with frequent daily use. Once a problem is discovered, replace it promptly to avoid larger, more expensive damage.

Roller Doors

Curtain Alignment

The entire curtain of the roller door comes out of the track or the automatic opener cannot fully open or close smoothly.

Sectional Doors

Panel Replacement

Garage door panels usually get broken or bent because of accidents. In most cases, you can replace a single panel of a garage door. Your panels can be customized to make it blend with the entire system. However, if most of the panels have been damaged, it would be more cost-effective to get a new door.
